Bournemouth:
Working back with old photographs
I decided to re-look at the pictures from Bournemouth that I took as I left them and didn't look much more into them. I didn't have any more photoshoots that developed from this as I think there want much opportunity to capture more photos as these. These photographs really captured some emotion.
I want to explore more with visual connections with these images and explore them further. Here I have tried to sequence the photographs and using them to create a narrative and story and possibly a loss of some kind.

The last picture on the bottom right are the images that were too familiar as the other pictures and adding them in the same photo book is not needed so I'm going to choose one of the two. For this photo book its going to be a book about loss of life and linking to the nostalgia and looking back on past memories which will be quite interesting.
These photography's all have a similar visual connection and the meaning behind it and they connect to a sense of loss of some kind. I printed off the images and was looking at what works and what doesn't and if some of the images are too similar and how to sequence them so it shows a narrative. I have slowly been doing this as I have printed the images and changing them to what I think works more and flows more.
Here, I was looking at the different variations of how I could lay the photographs out and the composition of them, and how well they would sit on each of the page. I was looking at this other photo book which I really liked. Most of the pages were a full bleed and some were only half a page which is what I decided I was going to do as all the images were quite good as a full bleed.
Below is the book that I took inspiration from when making my own book and I'm going to print off an A6 is it is quite a nice size especially for this small project. I added a small poem in the middle of the book as swell to add more of a backstory of the photos.
